Young At Heart

LILY & ROSE

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!

QUITE A GOOD DAY ACTUALLY!

All my fears about the ruined hair came to nothing this morning, as the weather had improved enough by the time I left the hairdressers for it not to be a major problem. Also, James had come down to Morpeth with me and we had parked at his apartment which is literally next door to SAKs, so there was no distance to walk at all.
We seem to have spent the day eating! Jim and I started in Costa with breakfast sandwiches and then we continued this afternoon with pizza. This probably sounds extremely unhealthy, but it was just a one off and won't happen again (until we go to NY anyway!)
That's the big problem about the States though isn't it. Small portions aren't an option are they? And, of course, there's nothing to beat a stack of pancakes with blueberries and lashings of maple syrup to set you up for the day. Oh God - I can feel a serious diet coming on before we go, so that I can indulge when we get there.
James has gone out for the evening unexpectedly, to a Jimmy Carr concert/gig - whatever it's called. I don't think he was particularly fussed, but his mate had a spare ticket, so he's gone along with him. He may or may not return to Fram tonight. There's still no heating at his place, but he has managed to borrow a fan heater, so may crash there tonight and come up first thing in the morning. (I think it was when I told him that if he came in late and disturbed the pups HE would have to settle them again that made him decide to stay in Morpeth!!)
We got home just in time to hear the footie scores. Wasn't it a shame about Sunderland?!
