The puppies HATE them!
Mind you, they seem to take a dislike to anyone who is passing by, or who doesn't come to the house and make a fuss of them! How on earth do we get them to stop barking at everything? Even the leaves blowing around has them in fits.
TIPS, PLEASE!!
The training manual tells us to either distract them or to ignore them completely. Well, first off the pups are so focused on the object that is causing the barking in the first place that distraction DOESN'T work. Secondly, if we just ignore them they can keep the barking up for ages and I worry that the neighbours will start complaining.
Gosh, I can remember the days when they puppies hadn't learned to bark! How blissful those days seem now!
LILY & ROSE
Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!
