It's great being a Newcastle fan! We just never know what's going to be thrown at us next. Just when you think there's nothing more the fat *** could do to us - he decides to sell the naming rights of our ground.
I don't imagine anyone is surprised that he is no longer selling the club, nor that he has put Chris Hughton in as a 'permanent ' manager - on an eighteen month contract - bit of a contradiction that - but did anyone see the name of ST JAMES'S PARK being put up for sale?
This is the heart of our city and the identity of our ground. To take it away surely shows that this man has no consideration of the fans or the area as a whole.
I cannot begin to imagine what makes Fat Ash tick, but he certainly has the most amazing ability to make decisions which are guaranteed to earn him the reputation of Public Enemy Number One amongst NUFC fans.
It's incredible that out of all the thousands of fans in ST JAMES'S PARK, Fat Ash stands out like a sore thumb in his extra extra large white shirt. Everyone in the ground can see him and it always strikes me that he is enjoying our despair and frustration.
WHAT EXACTLY IS HIS AGENDA - DOES EVEN HE KNOW?

Maybe he's thinking of having one of the Stands named after him too? (A bit like the Doug Ellis stand at Villa Park). Now that would be nice wouldn't it?
ReplyDeleteOr, he could nominate 4 stands and have 'Mike' in one, 'Ashley' in another, 'Was' in the 3rd and 'Here' in the 4th. Then his leagcy would live on and on....until another owner comes along...Tee hee ;-)
Richard - absolutely NOTHING would surprise me any more about this man. He is an absolute disgrace and has no idea what he is doing to the people of this area. We used to have a club we were proud of - and now it's a laughing stock. It's SO sad.
