LILY & ROSE

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!

GOING DARK!

No, that's nothing to do with my hair appointment on Saturday. I'M not going dark, probably lighter if anything. No I was referring to the fact that at only 6.15 it is already going dark. As James said yesterday, 'it's a bit rubbish,' isn't it?
I think there's something almost sad about this time of the year, with summer (?) well and truly gone and winter approaching rapidly. I really do detest the dark mornings and afternoons, although it will be marginally better this year when I don't have to go out in the cold at the crack of dawn.
(Hang on a minute, I DO have to go out at the crack of dawn for puppy wee time. Maybe in a couple of months I'll just be able to open the door and shoo them out without actually going out on poop watch. Why are the puppies so fascinated with their poop? Is this normal? If they're not walking in it, they're sniffing it and, even worse, EATING IT. WHY?? Do other puppies do this? Does it not make them ill?
I try so hard to keep everything clean for them, using antibac as if it's going out of fashion, and they go and EAT EACH OTHER'S POOP!)

5 minutes later: I've just been outside and it's not so dark now! It was a big black cloud, which has moved on now and is being followed by blueish sky, so it's not a 'rubbish' as I thought it was.

  1. Wht do you think they love James Wellbeloved dried food so much? Its dried and processed poop. There is another product in the pet shop called, rather worryingly, Soilent Brown (sic).
