And Charles has thrown in the towel and GONE TO BED already!
What? He's only been away for five days with the kids - and he's had help - it's not as though he's had them all to himself!
Good grief, if he's so tired today, what on earth will he be like tomorrow?
He says he's read the list of things to be aware of when puppy sitting and that he knows what to do! Well, we'll see!
I've said that I will do the early morning shift tomorrow, so long as he does Sunday's. That seems fair doesn't it?
Anyway, it's just me and the girls now. They are playing quite sociably on the mat by the door and it does seem to be the 'getting ready for bedtime' play - they are much quieter and more tolerant of each other than at their more energetic times.
Lily is now starting to doze by the door and Rose has taken herself to the crate, where she has had a drink of water and is beginning the process of settling down.
Five minutes later...
...Aaaah! Two sleepy puppies in their crate!
