LILY & ROSE

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!

THE PUPPIES HAVE BEEN LOVELY TODAY!

So far anyway!!
They've played together really nicely and have actually managed to share their toys a bit better than usual.
Lily and Rose are outside having a bit of rough and tumble and I'm trying to decide whether I should eat now while they're happily occupied or leave it a bit until I'm really ready.
From the step where they are sitting at the moment they have a really good view of the road in front of the house and they seem to enjoy watching what's going on. Occasionally something really attracts their attention and they have a try at barking, although the noise that they actually produce isn't going to frighten anything off yet!!
Charles has rung again. It would appear that the bomb disposal people messed them about this afternoon, telling them that they would be able to leave the island at 2.30, but actually closing the causeway before that. However, the kids have seen helicopters landing and taking off and were able to watch the explosion (from a safe place of course) plus, they were able to see the tide coming in and the island actually being separated from the mainland which is something they probably haven't seen before. It did mean that the planned activity for the afternoon didn't happen but I'm sure the kids have still had a really good learning experience regardless.
I really want to bring the puppies in for a play, but they seem so content outside I shall leave them and have something to eat. There, decision made!
