Young At Heart

LILY & ROSE

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!

LILY'S BARKING

IN HER SLEEP!
How weird! Lily hasn't really got the hang of barking in real life yet and when she does give it a try it comes out as a sort of high pitched squeal. She makes a lot of funny little noises does Lily, especially when she's yawning! Each huge yawn is accompanied by a little screech.
When James came round last night I observed that Lily can at times resemble a) a meerkat when she's asleep b) a baby kangaroo when she's jumping around and c) a guinea pig when she's chasing around. Now I don't really know much about guinea pigs and I have absolutely no idea if they race around much, but when she puts her ears back and gets even lower to the ground than usual, with her coat being smoothed back due to the whiplash speed with which she runs, she DOES resemble one!
Of the two puppies, Lily has the thinner, more pointed face. Rose is just an overall fluffball and is certainly the pretty one of the two. But Lily is the cuddliest. For all that she is a fiesty little thing she will always be the first to want a cuddle and she will scrabble at my leg to let me know that it's time to come up and have a love - and within minutes she is usually asleep!
Anyway, the point is that in her sleep Lily CAN INDEED bark - and quite respectably as well!
Must be a good dream Lil !
